August 22 Dinner Meeting
Our monthly dinner meetings give Democrats and Progressive individuals a place to talk politics. You don't need to be a policy expert just come and learn from peers, trade jokes, and hang out in an environment where it's not taboo to talk politics. We typically have a speaker each month and our programs are always FREE. There is an optional full dinner available for the nominal fee of $15 ($20 for non-members). The dinner is always cooked on site and includes appetizers, beverage, side dish, and dessert.

Richard Coshnear Immigration Attorney for Comité VIDAS
Immigration attorney Richard Coshnear has been providing low-cost immigration law services, advocacy and community education since 2003 and is currently the staff attorney with the Vital Immigrant Defense and Advocacy Services, Inc (VIDAS).
Rules about who is eligible for asylum have recently changed. In addition, it appears that the Trump administration is taking a closer look at those who have become naturalized citizens and have begun to take away their citizenship. Mr. Coshnear will address some of these issues and update us on immigration problems here in our county.
Note: During our Business Meeting, Susan McDonough will give a presentation on the North Bay Rapid Response Network and Hotline and the training to become Legal Observers over ICE activities.
Members: $15.00 Non-members: $20.00
Please RSVP no later than Wed., 8/22, 11:00 AM Note: We always offer a Vegetarian option; please be sure to designate when you send your RSVP
